As the longest-serving U.S. Senator from Kentucky, McConnell has amassed a record of obstructionism and inaction that has harmed his constituents and the country as a whole.

McConnell's most egregious betrayal of Kentucky came in 2017, when he led the effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ACA, also known as Obamacare, provided health insurance to millions of Americans who previously did not have it. In Kentucky, the ACA expanded Medicaid to cover over 400,000 people, reducing the state's uninsured rate by half.

McConnell's repeal effort failed, but he has continued to undermine the ACA at every turn. He has supported lawsuits to overturn the law, and he has blocked efforts to expand Medicaid further.

McConnell's opposition to the ACA is driven by his close ties to the health insurance industry. He has received millions of dollars in campaign contributions from insurance companies, and he has consistently voted in their favor.

McConnell's betrayal of Kentucky's health care needs is just one example of his long history of putting his own interests ahead of his constituents'. He has also opposed legislation to raise the minimum wage, protect workers' rights, and invest in education and infrastructure.

McConnell's obstructionism has extended to the national level as well. He has repeatedly blocked legislation to address climate change, gun violence, and income inequality.

McConnell's inaction has had a devastating impact on Kentucky and the country. Kentucky is one of the poorest states in the nation, with high rates of poverty, unemployment, and infant mortality. The state also has a嚴重 opioid epidemic.

McConnell has done little to address these problems. He has voted against legislation to provide funding for addiction treatment, and he has blocked efforts to expand Medicaid to cover more Kentuckians who are struggling with addiction.

McConnell's record of obstructionism and inaction is a betrayal of the people of Kentucky and the country as a whole. He has put his own political ambitions and the interests of big corporations ahead of the needs of his constituents.

It is time for a change. Kentucky deserves a senator who will fight for the needs of the people, not the interests of big corporations. Kentuckians deserve a senator who will work to address the challenges facing our state and our country.

It is time to vote Mitch McConnell out of office.

Call to Action

If you are tired of Mitch McConnell's obstructionism and inaction, you can take action by:

  • Donating to his opponent in the 2023 Senate race.
  • Volunteering for his opponent's campaign.
  • Contacting your local elected officials and letting them know that you support his opponent.
  • Spreading the word about McConnell's record of betrayal.

Together, we can defeat Mitch McConnell and elect a senator who will fight for the people of Kentucky.
